Sustainability, industrialization and renovation, the main topics of the European Building Summit

The European Building Summit Barcelona, ​​​​which will be held on May 24 and 25 at the Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, ​​will bring together speakers and congressmen from all over the world in the Catalan capital to expose the new trends that will mark the future of construction sector, based on three key thematic axes: sustainability, industrialization and renovation of buildings.

How to achieve a more sustainable construction or what would be the benefits of implementing an increasingly industrialized construction system will be some of the questions that will be debated in a congress that has already become an international benchmark.

Numerous national and international speakers will meet on May 24 and 25 to explain not only about the latest construction trends, but also about the new challenges for the future facing a sector characterized by strong traditional processes.

The European Building Summit will focus on understanding construction as a mechanism for environmental compensation, linked to sustainability and the use of certain materials, as well as the need to question traditional construction to address the need for housing and equipment that growth of the population is asking. Energy rehabilitation, a primary activity in the sector today, will also be put on the table.

This year, the European Building Summit will be held within the framework of Construmat, with a limited on-site capacity for 240 congressmen. For all those who cannot attend in person, the congress also offers online registration.

The congress, organized by the Col·legi de l’Arquitectura Tècnica de Barcelona  ​​was born with the desire to promote a more efficient, collaborative, modern and respectful construction sector in the use of public, private and natural resources.

After eight years of history, it has become a benchmark event in the sector, with a total of 4,000 participants, including the best experts and professionals in the AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations) sector.
