The European BIM Summit, one of the most important events on the international BIM calendar, opens the registrations of its 6th edition, which in 2020 will present a renewed format with the aim of providing more value to the participants. The congress will take place on May 28th and 29th at the World Trade Center in Barcelona. Registrations made before February 15th will have a 50% discount.
This new edition will be divided into three large thematic sections: Bulding Information Modeling (BIM), LEAN Construction and, finally, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). Each section, with a duration of a half-day, will end with a Grand Round Table in where it will be discussed the content of three new workpapers about the BIM future applications. In this way, throughout the congress, it is being developed a work and reflection material that congressmen will take as an extra added value.
Among the sessions scheduled for this new 2020 edition, we can go forward a first one dedicated to presenting the two invited countries: Singapore and Netherlands, where BIM has a strong penetration.
In the second section (LEAN), there will be a session dedicated to Facility & Asset Management after building, besides to another one about parameters in construction and infrastructure processes, and finally a great debate about LEAN.
In the third section (IPD), the future of cities and the BIM will be discussed. These are just some of the sessions and round tables scheduled for an event that will feature excellent speakers.
