The following EBS Day “What is BIM? Which are its benefits and necessity?” will take place in Logroño on March 19, 2019. in the Auditorium of the Colegio Oficial de Aparejadores y Arquitectos Técnicos de La Rioja (COAATR).
Building Information Modeling is shaping up as the construction sector’s paradigm shift in the 21st century. In fact, it represents its absolute transformation, adapting the sector to its future industrialization. At the same time, it generates new tools focused on the generation of value in the whole process of the life cycle of a building or an infrastructure. It implies changes in the communication channels between the agents that participate in this cycle and implies a collaborative process between them. This new situation is capable of generating new roles, functions and even work models. Team management, hiring for common objectives and BIM Project Management generate with their knowledge a new professional role suited to the needs that our real estate, infrastructure and historical heritage has.
This session aims to help the incorporation of BIM in the construction sector and also it will show a case study of its specific application in the rehabilitation.
The European BIM Summit, through its EBSDays, offers this joint session with the COAAT of La Rioja as a panoramic view of what is being done within this sector.
The session is aimed at surveyors, technical architects, builders, building engineers, municipal technicians, developers, architects, etc.
