Miquel Lacasta Codorniu, PhD architect by ESARQ UIC (special prize best doctoral thesis 2012), Master in Biodigital Architecture by ESARQ UIC and architect by ETSAB. He is co-founder of A rchikubik studio as well as @kubik, a transdisciplinary and co-working space since 1994. He is founder and editor of Axonométrica, a blog on architectural theory. Professor at the School of Architecture UIC since 1997 Author of Paseos por el Voladizo, Ediciones Asimétricas 2020, as well as co-author of multiple teaching books. archikubik, is a French-Catalan architecture and urbanism agency, formed by Marc Chalamanch, Miquel Lacasta and Carmen Santana, specialized in projects that generate a great ecological and social impact. The poetry of the living is the infrastructure of all their projects. Scale 1, humans, flora and fauna, allows them to deploy a systemic and holistic vision necessary for the de-standardization of the production of our cities and our lives. Archikubik moves forward hand in hand with the inhabitants through “exploratory interviews”, a social interaction tool indexed by Unesco, establishing a permanent dialogue, in order to accelerate the ecological, energetic and social transition, in order to walk together the open paths of urban and architectural innovation.
